Junior Year

During their junior year, our students focus on ACT/SAT testing, identifying potential colleges, and making college visits. Students take 2-4 ACT/SAT tests on average in order to maximize their scores. For each test, they will complete our test prep programs, which are five week classes. Each class builds on the foundation of the last. ACT/SAT testing is a process so start early!

Students and their families will also attend CPS's family seminar nights. These group information sessions are designed to give families the knowledge and skills to begin evaluating college and exploring these opportunities through visits and speaking with admissions officers. During this time, students will utilize CPS's robust network of alumni to receive more personalized, real-time advice from current college students. Year two of CPS will help our students gain a better, individualized understanding of what attributes they are looking for in their perfect college choice.
