Our team of instructors have been trained on our proprietary method of strategies and preparation material. Each student has a personalized program that builds as they progress through our program. Our highly motivated and energetic staff consists of tutors with backgrounds in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, Masters in Education, East Asian Studies and Mandarin, Journalism, Information Technology and Programming, and Foreign Languages. The wide array of backgrounds allows our team to connect with and cater to the needs of students interested in many different disciplines as they progress through the college prep process. Lori is the founder and CEO of College Preparation Station Inc. At CPS, Lori has developed proprietary test prep materials and a straightforward college guidance system. Prior to CPS, she worked for Ameren in the IT field, and founded Computer Tutor Station where she created a unique pedagogy for teaching office software applications to corporate customers. With over 20 years of teaching expertise, Lori is extremely qualified in test curriculum and college guidance. In the past 15 years she has helped her clients secure over 100 million dollars in academic and athletic scholarships! Her creativity, warmth and love for what she is able to do for others has built a company that spans three states and has changed the lives of thousands of students. Her goal is to change the way the middle class views academic readiness, while creating an affordable process for families to follow. One that emphasizes the importance of starting the process early and making it a family project! Her students plan, prepare, practice, and succeed!
Tony is a diehard University of Illinois fan (and proud alumnus), where he received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. He also is a SIUE MBA graduate and enjoys playing ice hockey.
For 35 years he worked at Ameren U.E. as an engineer and commodity trader. Tony used his math expertise to create the math curriculum for ACT and SAT test prep classes at CPS. Tony is also passionate about helping student athletes throughout their recruiting process. The key is to find the right fit for academics and your athletic career.
Jaime is a native Chicagoan and alumnae of Illinois Wesleyan University. Jaime majored in journalism and worked for numerous news outlets prior to joining CPS. Her writing background is a tremendous benefit to students who are writing admissions and scholarship essays. Jaime is also an expert on interviewing skills and networking. Her vibrant personality creates a “can do “ attitude in even the shyest teenager! Jaime enjoys her family and traveling the world. You may see her visiting any campus - in any country!
James Konsky is the Director of the Creve Coeur, Missouri office. He is instrumental in the expansion of College Preparation Station Inc. He has worked with CPS for six years, where he has been instrumental in creating personalized instruction, tutoring, and working with students and parents as they are transitioning from high school into the college admissions and the application process. His own experience playing college golf allows him to be the perfect mentor for high school athletes wanting to explore college athletics at all levels. James graduated from Brown University with a B.A. in East Asian Studies/Mandarin and is an alumnus of the Venture for America fellowship. His passion lies in business expansion and inspiring others to find their perfect fit as they begin their journey to make a positive impact.
Kaitlan is originally from New York and attended the University of Delaware, where she majored in Foreign Languages, specifically French, Italian, and German. Kaitlan is an experienced college admissions counselor who specializes in assisting students with 504 plans or IEPs in getting accommodations.
She is also passionate about cooking and recruiting students to attend her alma mater and become Blue Hens! Kaitlan enjoys instilling the confidence that combats the anxiety that too many high school students battle. She is an amazing mentor!
