Our Team


Our team of instructors have been trained on our proprietary method of strategies and preparation material. Each student has a personalized program that builds as they progress through our program. Our highly motivated and energetic staff consists of tutors with backgrounds in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, Masters in Education, East Asian Studies and Mandarin, Journalism, Information Technology and Programming, and Foreign Languages. The wide array of backgrounds allows our team to connect with and cater to the needs of students interested in many different disciplines as they progress through the college prep process. We love what we do - our mission is to help students develop a vision and plan for the future!



Lori is the founder and CEO of College Preparation Station. At CPS, Mrs. Lori has developed proprietary test prep materials and a straightforward college guidance system. Prior to CPS, she founded Computer Tutor Station and created a unique pedagogy for teaching office software applications to corporate customers. With over 20 years of teaching expertise, Lori is extremely qualified in test prep curriculum and college guidance. In the past 15 years she has helped her clients secure over 100 million dollars in academic and athletic scholarships!



Tony is a diehard University of Illinois fan (and proud alumnus), where he received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. For 35 years he worked at Ameren U.E. as an engineer and commodity trader. Tony used his math expertise to create the math curriculum for ACT and SAT test prep classes at CPS. Tony is also passionate about helping student athletes throughout their recruiting process.



Jaime is a native Chicagoan and alumnae of Illinois Wesleyan University. Jaime majored in journalism and worked for numerous news outlets prior to joining CPS. Her writing background is a tremendous benefit to students who are writing admissions and scholarship essays.



James Konsky is the COO of College Preparation Station. He has worked with CPS for five years, where he started helping students perfect their college admissions and scholarship essays before transitioning to guiding students through the college search and application process. James graduated from Brown University with a B.A. in East Asian Studies and is an alumnus of the Venture for America fellowship.



Kaitlan is originally from New York and attended the University of Delaware, where she majored in Foreign Languages, specifically French, Italian, and German. Kaitlan is an experienced college admissions counselor who specializes in assisting students with 504 plans or IEPs in getting accommodations. She is also passionate about cooking and recruiting students to attend her alma mater and become Blue Hens!
